Five of our squad gymnasts put in impressive gymnastics performances today at the Birmingham GMAC to come away with a bronze medal, 4 distinctions and a pass at National Development Plan Grade 11.

Ellie Pugh took home a bronze medal placing above 40 children from across the West Midlands region to land a place on the podium. Her trademark artistic flair on the floor and solid beam work saw high scores on all four pieces of apparatus.

Emily Evans was hot on her heels to take 5th place overall and a distinction. She wowed the judges to place 2nd on vault, and a superbly executed floor routine saw her place 3rd.......(click read more below)

Lauren Morton's elegance on floor was noticed by all with her beautiful spin and forward tumbling. A clean and confident beam routine with no falls saw Lauren ease through to passing.

Powering down the vault runway Dora Tomlinson was certainly in the zone performing one of the best vaults we've seen from her to take a very well deserved 10th place on the apparatus. Her flexibility and preciseness also saw her take 10th on floor and a distinction overall.

A huge thank you to Ben and Olivia for their hard work in coaching the girls - in particular for Olivia's unique choreography which really made the girls stand out.

And finally a massive thank you to the parents for your continued support - well done Mums & Dads for getting through the day! Extremely proud of everyone.

With Grade 11 now complete, we now look to our Grade 14, 13 and 12 gymnasts and our Floor & Vault teams  who will be hoping to emmulate today's success as they compete over the next few weeks.

In our 12th year as a gymnastics club we continue to progress each year and strive for success at all levels.
