Academy Gymnast Emily Takes BARS GOLD at English Bronze Championships!

SHS Academy gymnast Emily Evans was top of the podium this afternoon after taking first place and the individual gold medal on the bars at the English Bronze Championships. She fought off strong competition from gymnasts aross the country to take the title.

Fellow Academy gymnasts Jess Elsey, Ellie Pugh and Fiona Morfill also put in extremely strong performances for the club with Jess placing 7th overall in the Senior category, Ellie taking 10th on floor in the Intermediates  and Fiona placing 15th on floor in the Juniors with up to 60 girls in each category.

A huge thank you to all the parents for their support today - nail biting times! And of course a massive thank you to Olivia our Head Coach for coaching the girls to this success.
