64 gymnasts from Stage 2 Gymnastics/SHS Gymnastics Academy took part in our annual 5-day gymnastics training camp at Lilleshall National Sports Centre during August. We were lucky enough to train along side the GB men's junior squad and Olympian Rebecca Tunney which was very inspiring for our young gymnasts.

Lots of new skills were flying around the gym in preparation for the upcoming West Midlands Levels Competition at the GMAC.

A big thanks to all the coaches involved. A very productive week. Well done everyone!

Our extremely popular 5-day gymnastics training camp has been officially booked for Monday July 28th to Friday August 1st 2014 at Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Shropshire.

As usual we have an absolute maximum of 60 spaces available which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Every year we end up with a waiting list almost as long!

A bus for the gymnasts will leave Shrewsbury at 9am daily to return at 4pm.

Information about how to sign up will be given out soon in classes and a form to pay deposits.

The week is open to both boys and girls, recreational through to elite.

We took a bus from Shrewsbury each day to one of the best gymnastics centres in the country which luckily for us is based in Shropshire.

Our annual Summer training camp at Lilleshall National Sports Centre proved popular again this year with 55 gymnasts attending.

They made full use of the facilities over five full days of training on some of the best equipment this country has to offer.

During the week we were lucky enough to train alongside the British Men's gymnasts squad.

All gymnasts worked extremely hard towards individually set goals, capping a very enjoyable week.
